Made in USA by American Workers
Dandy Sack, like all of our products, is made at our manufacturing facility in Ohio. It’s always in stock and can typically be shipped in 24 hours. If you need a custom size, we’ll make it for you and ship it within 5 days for rapid receipt. Because we only use U.S. vendors, do our own manufacturing and have a large distribution network, you get your products quickly.
Step 1
Remove the grate from the catch basin.
Step 2
If using optional oil absorbents, place the absorbent pillow in the pouch on the bottom of the unit.
Step 3
Stand the grate on end.
Step 4
Move the top lifting straps out of the way.
Step 5
Place the grate into the Dandy Sack so that the grate is below the top straps and above the lower straps.
Step 6
Holding the lifting straps, insert the grate into the inlet.
Performing the necessary maintenance will keep Dandy Sack working at an optimal level:
- Remove all accumulated sediment and debris from the vicinity of the unit after each storm event.
- After a storm event and at regular intervals, look into the Sack. If the containment area is more than 1/3 full of sediment, empty the unit.
- To empty the unit, simply lift the unit using lifting straps and remove the grate.
- If using optional oil absorbents, replace the absorbent pillow when it nears saturation.
