Economical, Light-Duty Drain Filtration Solution
The Streamguard provides our most economical solution for storm grate filtration. Ideal for construction sites, parking lots and industrial facilities with lower water volume and less sediment, this strong, open-top bag hangs below the grate to filter oil and sediment-laden stormwater. The suspended solids are conveniently captured by the StreamGuard prior to entering the inlet, ensuring regulatory-compliance every time.

Like all our proprietary products, Streamguard is made at our manufacturing facility in Ohio. We maintain high inventory levels so we can drop-ship it in 5 days for fast receipt, no matter where you are in the U.S. Fast turnaround times are standard for us because we only use raw materials and parts sourced domestically, we manufacture onsite and have an expansive distribution network.
Step 1
Remove the grate from the catch basin.
Step 2
Clean dirt and debris from inlet ledge.
Step 3
Insert Streamguard.
Step 4
Reinstall grate. The top fabric portion should be pinched between the grate and the ledge.
Step 5
Cut off excess fabric with a utility knife.
- Remove all accumulated sediment and debris from vicinity of unit after each storm event
- After each storm event and at regular intervals, look inside the StreamGuard. If the unit has approximately 6 inches of accumulated sediment, it is recommended that the unit be replaced. In addition, if oil is seen floating and not absorbed, it’s time to replace the unit.
